
Key Account Manager Retail (m/f/d) – DACH region
The Burg Group is a leading European vinegar manufacturer and operates several production sites throughout Europe.
In today’s dynamic market environment, the continued expansion of our private label business plays a key strategic role for us. In order to further strengthen our position in food retail and to promote sustainable growth through the acquisition of new customers, we are now looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Key Account Manager (m/f/d) for the DACH region.
Your role
In this position, you will take full responsibility for selected key accounts within defined sales channels. You will actively build and expand existing customer relationships, acquire new customers and contribute to the strategic growth of the private label business.
Your most important tasks
- Responsibility for assigned national and international key accounts
- Building long-term, trust-based relationships with all relevant stakeholders at key clients
- Managing tenders and close coordination with internal departments
- Profit-oriented development and optimization of product ranges, taking into account category, customers and value creation potential
- Promoting product portfolio optimization in close cooperation with other departments of the company
- Monitoring and controlling customer performance based on defined KPIs
- Carrying out market, competition and product range analyses to identify growth opportunities
- Analyzing market research data from various sources

Your profile
- Several years of experience as a national or international Key Account Manager for private label ranges in the FMCG sector, ideally in gourmet food or other food categories
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, including experience in complex, multi-level price negotiations
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration (e.g. product development, product management)
- Confident, persuasive personality with a high level of enthusiasm and motivation
- High digital affinity, including MS 365 and ERP systems
- Fluent business English; additional languages are a plus
