Key Account Manager (m/f/d) - EDEKA
for the Southern Germany region (home office)
We look forward to your support with the following tasks:
- You are responsible for the holistic support and strategic development of the EDEKA South regions in the branded goods business
- You will implement our national brand and sales strategy at regional level
- You manage new launches, listings, secondary placements and promotions
- You work closely with internal interfaces, including marketing, supply chain and controlling
- You analyze sales, market and competitive data (e.g. Nielsen, YouGov) and derive specific sales measures
- Preparing, conducting and following up on annual meetings, condition negotiations and action planning
- Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers in purchasing, category management, multi-company entrepreneurs
- Responsibility for turnover, sales and earnings targets as well as budget control in the customer base you support
What you need for this:
- A completed commercial degree or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in key account management for a branded goods manufacturer in the food industry
- Proven experience in working with EDEKA and therefore a very good understanding of EDEKA's decision-making processes, committees and regional characteristics
- Routine in conducting annual meetings, condition and promotion negotiations
- Strong analytical skills and confident handling of key figures
- Confident handling of MS Office as well as common CRM and planning tools, ideally GS1 certification
- High willingness to travel within the region covered (southern Germany)
- High level of self-motivation, assertiveness and sense of responsibility
- A team-oriented way of working with a clear focus on customer and brand success
