Key Account Manager (m/f/d)
As a Key Account Manager at Stollwerck, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term partnerships, expanding existing business areas in the brand and private label sector and implementing our sales and corporate goals.

Your tasks as Key Account Manager Stollwerck:
- Creating a business plan with a structured approach for a number of selected key customers
- Recognizing and responding to new market/account opportunities
- Holistic management of existing customers
- Regular visits to our customers
- Ensure product opportunities are investigated across the group and presented to relevant accounts
- taking a joint and active role in optimizing the internal workflow in terms of promotional plans, sales forecasting, logistics, knowledge sharing, etc. while collaborating with our customer service, product managers and supply chain department
- Regularly conducting market and competitive analyses
What you need as a Key Account Manager at Stollweck:
- Completed business studies (e.g. business administration, sales, marketing) or a comparable qualification with sound practical experience in food retailing
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience as a Key Account Manager or Senior Account Manager with responsibility for top national or regional food retail customers (e.g. EDEKA, REWE, ALDI, Lidl, Kaufland)
- In-depth knowledge of the structures, decision-making channels and purchasing processes of the German food retail sector, including annual meetings, condition negotiations, promotional business and listing processes
- Ideally experience in the food or confectionery industry and in dealing with high-volume, margin-sensitive product ranges
- Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English; other foreign languages are an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel (analyses, calculations) and PowerPoint (customer-relevant presentations); experience with CRM or sales tools is desirable
- Strong negotiating, analytical and entrepreneurial personality with a strong focus on results and customers and a clear hands-on mentality
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills, a structured and independent way of working as well as commitment and resilience in a dynamic food retail environment
