We are looking for you to start as soon as possible in the greater Münster area (eastern Münsterland/NRW) (presence plus home office).

your future area of responsibility:

  • Competent and active support of a defined area of the key account for the food industry as well as bulk consumers such as system catering
  • Responsibility for establishing, maintaining and developing customer relationships with focus customers and actively acquiring new customers
  • Developing customer-specific strategies for annual contract negotiations in order to achieve sustainable competitive advantages
  • Preparation of offers, calculations and sales prices, qualified and needs-based customer support with regard to the negotiated annual targets, e.g. sales value, sales volume and sales measures
  • Close cooperation with product development, quality and production
  • Continuous market and competition monitoring as well as budget and sales planning and strategic expansion of the business area
  • Collaboration with all areas of the company involved and across the Group

What you bring with you:

  • A successfully completed food technology apprenticeship (butcher, chef, baker, dairy technician (m/f/d)) and/or studies (focus on sales/food technology) or comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience with relevant successes as well as excellent knowledge of the German food industry, structures and decision-making processes, ideally in the area of spices, ingredients, food ingredients or meat products
  • Experience in leading contract negotiations, food listing and convincing product presentation & positioning as well as experience in the organization and management of sales support measures
  • High customer orientation, strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a good feel for customer needs and the development potential of the market
  • Flexible, solution- and performance-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset with a good understanding of figures
  • Confident handling of the usual MS Office tools
  • Very good knowledge of German and willingness to travel
