- Our client is a traditional food distributor that has been successfully family-run for decades
- The medium-sized company offers a wide variety of fresh & frozen products for retailers in the DACH region
- Thanks to its in-depth product range expertise, distribution services and customized customer solutions, the company enjoys a strong reputation and has been growing for years
- In order to secure the planned further growth, the company management has decided to expand the Supply Chain division and establish a department head
- We are therefore looking for the new Head of Supply Chain (m/f/d), who will further develop the areas of Demand Planning, Order Management & Logistics Control and lead a team of 5 employees
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Overall responsibility for the Supply Chain division with a focus on Demand Planning and Order Management
- Ensuring precise demand & forecast planning in close coordination with Sales and Marketing
- Ensuring high availability of goods and continuous optimization of all supply chain processes along the supply chain
- Initiating and managing projects to increase efficiency and further develop processes and systems
- Close cooperation with suppliers, logistics service providers and internal interfaces (including sales, marketing, quality)
- Developing, analyzing and monitoring relevant KPIs (e.g. service level, inventory range, etc.) and deriving suitable measures

YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of professional experience in demand planning, order management or supply chain; ideally in the food industry
- Strong analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Initial management experience or sound experience in the technical management of projects and teams
- Hands-on mentality as well as a confident manner and assertiveness in dealing with various stakeholders
- Confident handling of MS Excel, PowerQuery and ERP tools
- Completed studies in business administration, logistics, supply chain management or a comparable qualification
