Our family business specializes in the production and distribution of high-quality hot drinks. We supply the European and international food trade with a wide range of products.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a:
Head of Quality Management (m/f/d)
Responsibilities/main tasks:
- Overall responsibility for the areas of quality management and quality assurance
- Creation, maintenance and continuous development of the QM manual and the entire QM system
- Planning, implementation and further development of certifications (incl. external and internal audits as well as internal training, e.g. HACCP)
- Increasing production efficiency by monitoring and optimizing procedures and processes in accordance with QM/QA guidelines, particularly with regard to IFS standards
- Proactive customer management, especially in the B2B area (including processing complaints and checking and creating product specifications)
- Contributing to product maintenance and the development of new products
- Initiating and supporting digitalization projects at company and department level
Qualifications/requirements
- Successfully completed studies in the field of food technology, ecotrophology, quality management or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in quality management in the food industry, ideally with management responsibility
- Sound knowledge and practical experience in conducting audits (e.g. IFS Food, organic, Fairtrade)
- Confident handling of common IT applications, especially MS Office
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Independent and structured way of working and strong ability to work in a team, combined with a high level of commitment, assertiveness and resilience
