Head of Product Development and
Process Technology (m/f/d)
Main tasks:
- Responsible for the development of new and optimization of existing products in terms of taste, texture, shelf life and cost.
- Independently coordinate development projects across all phases, from idea to market and production readiness.
- Working closely with other departments such as Purchasing, KAM, Production and Quality Assurance to ensure smooth implementation.
- Continuous development of existing recipes and quality criteria, long-term trials and tastings for quality assurance, structured complaint management.
- Development and implementation of efficient process technologies for production to optimize quality and costs.
- Analyzing market trends and consumer demands to identify new product ideas and opportunities.
- Leading and developing the team to strengthen the technical competence and performance of the division.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed training in the food sector with corresponding additional qualification (master craftsman, technician) or a degree in food technology or comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in the development of food products and establishment in large-scale production.
- Understanding of the various food production and processing methods, including cooling, heating, emulsification, etc.
- Sound knowledge of applicable regulations, standards, labeling requirements and hygiene standards is mandatory.
- Committed personality with an independent and structured way of working.
- Ideally management experience and a solution-oriented, pragmatic way of working.
- Strong communication skills.
- Confident appearance and ability to work in a team.
