
WELL-KNOWN MANUFACTURER OF CONVENIENCE FOOD
- Our client is a modern company in the convenience food sector with sales in the lower 3-digit million € range
- The product ranges are distributed internationally/nationally, with a focus on the retail trade and selected food service customers
- In its core market in Germany, the company is a top player in its segments and enjoys an excellent reputation; most of its production takes place at the main plant in north-western Lower Saxony
- The entire supply chain is currently being optimized in terms of efficiency and market orientation, which is leading to process and system adjustments in warehouse management and transport logistics
- Due to a vacancy, we are currently looking for a new, experienced logistics manager (m/f/d) who has a high affinity for processes & IT and has a flair for driving forward the planned adjustments
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Overall responsibility for warehouse and transport logistics, taking into account costs, deadlines and quality (approx. 25 employees)
- Control and continuous optimization of logistics processes, in particular through digitalization & automation
- Introduction and further development of a KPI-driven department: definition, monitoring and analysis of relevant key figures
- Use of data analyses to derive and implement improvement measures
- Negotiation & management of service providers and forwarding agents
- Management and collaboration in cross-departmental projects, e.g. lean management, process optimization

YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of management experience in a comparable position, ideally in the food or consumer goods industry
- Proven experience in setting up and managing a KPI-based logistics organization (e.g. introduction of dashboards, regular performance reviews, data-based decision making)
- Strong analytical skills and high IT affinity (e.g. experience with ERP systems, data visualization tools)
- Experience in the successful implementation of change/digitalization processes and in leading teams during change phases
- Completed studies in the field of logistics, business administration or comparable qualification
