Your Responsibilities

You will manage and monitor our daily production operations—from plant rounds to production and material planning, all the way to structured troubleshooting.
You will lead and develop your team members both professionally and in terms of discipline, and ensure proactive staffing and scheduling.
You ensure quality, workplace safety, and operational standards—including audits, HACCP, and safety meetings, as well as the implementation of corrective actions.
You optimize processes at the Berlin site with a focus on workplace safety, material consumption, line throughput, and equipment availability.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, Logistics, HR, and Product Development.

Your Qualifications

You have successfully completed a degree in food technology from a university of applied sciences or hold a comparable qualification.
You have several years of professional experience in the manufacturing industry, have several years of experience in managing and developing employees, and know how to lead teams in a clear, respectful, and motivating manner.
You have in-depth knowledge of industrial food production as well as product safety, hygiene regulations, and quality standards, and you combine this with a strong understanding of business management and technical matters.
You are proficient in using common IT tools such as MS Office, ERP or SAP systems, as well as HR and occupational safety tools; Knowledge of Six Sigma or project management is a plus.
You communicate confidently and in a manner appropriate to your audience, have excellent German skills as well as business-level proficiency in spoken and written English, and present yourself professionally when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
You impress others with your motivation, flexibility, and strong commitment to quality, and you genuinely enjoy working with your team to successfully navigate even challenging situations.
