Your future company is a traditional family business in the food industry and supplies the northwest of Germany with over 200 supermarkets.
Your location: We are looking for you to start as soon as possible in the Gronau / Westphalia (NRW) area.

your future area of responsibility:
- Overall responsibility for the expansion and further development of the branch network
- Identification, evaluation and acquisition of suitable locations, land and properties
- Analysis of market, competition and location data (catchment areas, frequencies, potential)
- Conducting contract negotiations (purchase, rent, lease) with owners, project developers and local authorities
- Managing all expansion projects from the initial idea to market opening
- Close cooperation with internal departments (construction, technology, sales, legal, controlling)
- Coordinating external partners such as estate agents, architects, planners and authorities
- Ensuring compliance with budgets, schedules and strategic targets
- Monitoring market trends and deriving long-term expansion strategies
- Close and confidential cooperation with the management
What you bring with you:
- Degree in business administration, real estate management, industrial engineering, urban/regional planning or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in expansion, location development, project development or real estate management, ideally in the food retail sector
- Sound knowledge of real estate, tenancy and contract law is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office and location analysis tools
- Strong analytical skills as well as strategic and economic thinking
- Strong negotiating skills, assertiveness and communication skills
- Independent, structured and results-oriented way of working
- Willingness to travel within the expansion area
