Here you roll up your sleeves:
- Overall commercial responsibility for the Michelstadt production site: you will assume overall commercial responsibility for the site and ensure efficient management and the further development of production and cost structures.
- Cross-site cooperation with the headquarters: You will work closely with the headquarters in Hürth (near Cologne), regularly visit the site and act as a central interface to ensure close coordination with the management.
- Commercial control & performance management: You are responsible for budget planning, forecasting, KPI control as well as cost and investment controlling and ensure the economically sustainable development of the site.
- Analysis and optimization of production and cost structures: You analyze production, process and cost structures and derive measures to sustainably improve efficiency, quality and profitability.
- Investment, automation and optimization projects: You manage technical modernization, investment and automation projects at the site - from planning and budget control to successful implementation.
- Reporting and decision-making basis for the management: You are responsible for transparent and structured reporting and prepare analyses, decision-making bases and recommendations for action for the management.
- Project coordination: You coordinate external partners, suppliers and service providers as part of investment and optimization projects.
- Management and further development of the organization and employees: You further develop the commercial and project-related functions at the site and establish clear project and control structures.
- Project structures: You establish clear structures and responsibilities for projects at the location and continuously develop these further.
This will earn you plus points:
- Completed technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, industrial engineering) or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in managing manufacturing companies, ideally FMCG
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking
- Sound know-how in machine and plant engineering and automation
- In-depth understanding of production and value creation processes as well as strategic competence
- Experience in project management as well as budget planning and control
- Strong communication and decision-making skills as well as a hands-on mentality
