- Our client is a well-known medium-sized brand player in the confectionery industry that markets innovative product ranges under its umbrella brand and generates sales in the mid 2-digit million euro range
- The company is part of an international group that also produces private labels and industrial products and sells these not only in Germany but also in Europe and globally
- Our client operates purely as a marketing & sales company and is known for its innovative brand concepts and regular, creative brand activation, both digitally and at the point of sale
- The products are produced in one of the Group's factories and meet the highest quality standards
- As part of a succession plan, we are now looking for an entrepreneurial Commercial Director (m/f/d) in the greater Hamburg area; in direct reporting line to the group management
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Exploiting market potential (distribution & product range) in food retail, discount stores and new channels, with a focus on DACH
- Management of a key account and marketing team as well as a dedicated national sales force
- Development and implementation of marketing strategies taking into account specific channel/customer requirements and commercial targets for the company with full P&L responsibility
- Strong operational involvement in negotiations with strategic customers
- Further development of the product portfolio offered, in close coordination with the Group's supply chain and R&D
- Establishment of commercial excellence standards and close cooperation with the Group's supply chain organization

YOUR PROFILE
- Comprehensive sales & marketing expertise for food brands
- Several years of experience in management functions as Sales Manager (m/f/d) or Commercial Director (m/f/d) with experience in P&L management
- Extensive closing & annual meeting experience in German retail with operational touchpoints to important customer groups such as EDEKA, REWE, ALDI, LIDL etc.
- Experience in the development of differentiating brand & marketing strategies, as well as their implementation in retail
- Entrepreneurial mindset; motivator and team player
- Loyal, trustworthy and a leader with integrity
- Completed business studies or comparable qualification
