- Supporting the technical management of the Vivaris operational control laboratory at the Haselünne site
- Coordinating day-to-day operations in quality assurance and the laboratory
- Assisting with staff scheduling for laboratory employees
- Ensuring and monitoring that laboratory staff perform their duties properly
- Assessing, processing, and responding to customer complaints
- Planning, conducting, and evaluating operational trials and analyses to improve products and operational processes
- Evaluating monthly QA statistics, particularly analytical values, trends, and complaint and error rates
- Creating and maintaining specifications for raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Processing and responding to product-specific customer inquiries
- Maintaining and further developing the QM manual and quality-related documentation
- Assisting with formulation and raw material management
- Assessment of packaging rotation and conducting labeling audits
- Participating in the implementation of the requirements of the currently valid IFS Food Standard at the facility, as well as preparing for, supporting, and following up on internal and external IFS Food audits
- Conducting and documenting operational hygiene inspections, as well as monitoring compliance with hygiene and quality regulations and HACCP requirements
- Assistance with quality assurance for outsourced processes in the non-alcoholic beverages sector
- Planning, conducting, and following up on training related to production and quality
- Addressing quality-related issues during product development and product changes
- Contributing to the further development and digitization of QSund and QM processes
- Taking on selected special tasks and improvement projects in the area of quality assurance
What we’d like to see:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in food technology, a certification as a beverage production manager, or comparable training with relevant experience in the food and beverage industry
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of water and beverage analysis as well as sensory evaluation of products
- Knowledge of microbiological and chemical-technical food analysis
- Good knowledge of food law, ideally in the area of non-alcoholic beverages and labeling regulations
- Experience in preparing for and conducting internal and external audits
- Proficiency in MS Office 3 and SAP, ideally in the MM and QM modules
- Commitment, sense of responsibility, independence, attention to quality, flexibility, assertiveness, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills
