What key responsibilities await you?
- Technical and managerial leadership of a team of up to 80 employees
- Ensuring smooth production operations in terms of quality, costs, and on-time delivery
- Planning, managing, and continuously optimizing production processes
- Responsibility for compliance with all quality, hygiene, labor, and safety standards
- Analyzing production-related metrics and identifying appropriate improvement measures
- Responsibility for recording and evaluating relevant production data in SAP
- Staffing and shift scheduling in accordance with production requirements
- Supporting, motivating, and developing your employees
- Close collaboration with the Quality Assurance, Engineering, Logistics, and Work Planning departments
What you bring to the table:
- Completed apprenticeship as a butcher (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
- Ideally, advanced training as a master butcher (m/f/d) or a comparable professional qualification
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in the food industry
- A structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong sense of quality and responsibility
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as persuasive communication and leadership abilities
- Organizational skills, assertiveness, and initiative
- Willingness to work in a year-round two-shift operation
