Wasserburg am Inn • Internship • 38 hours per week • Depends on contract type (voluntary or required internship) • Start date: Beginning in late February 2027 (Duration: 6 months)

Your Responsibilities

Our Food Ingredients business unit develops and produces functional specialty ingredients for a wide range of applications in the food processing industry. During your internship, you’ll become part of our dedicated team and gain exciting insights into product development for applications in the Bakery & Sweet, Savory, and Dairy sectors.

You’ll not only support us in our day-to-day operations but also take on responsibility for your own small projects—from concept to implementation. Don’t worry: If you have any questions or face challenges, experienced colleagues* will be there to help you at any time—we work as a team and support one another.

  • You’ll actively work on developing new functional ingredients for food applications
  • You’ll independently plan, conduct, and document test series in the lab or pilot plant
  • You’ll produce product samples and conduct various application tests
  • You’ll assist with stability testing—including sensory evaluations and chemical-physical analyses
  • You’ll assist in the development and optimization of application formulations for our customers*
  • You’ll gain exciting insights into related areas such as production and analytics

Your Profile

Are you passionate about food, do you follow current food trends with enthusiasm, and do you want to put your knowledge into practice? Do you enjoy working in a team, think in a solution-oriented way, and have fun developing and trying out new things? Then you’ve come to the right place!

  • You are currently studying food technology or a related field—or have already completed your degree
  • You have a technical understanding of and interest in functional ingredients and their applications
  • Ideally, you’ve gained some initial experience in a lab or pilot plant
  • You work carefully, in an organized manner, and independently
  • You’re proficient with MS Office
  • You communicate very well in German and English
  • Ideally, you hold a Class B driver’s license (for occasional errands)
