STRATEGIC BUYER
FRUIT/COMMODITIES
(m/f/d)
who will actively help shape our procurement of raw materials and contribute to ensuring our high quality standards.
Your Responsibilities:
• Managing the entire procurement process for assigned raw materials
• Ensuring that our production is supplied with the correct quantities at the right time while maintaining quality standards
• Optimizing internal material flows in the area of raw material procurement
• Strategic responsibility for the industries and suppliers under your purview
• Conducting negotiations in coordination with all relevant company departments
• Participating in budgeting and purchasing control for the respective industries
• Supporting transport logistics and customs clearance and acting as a representative in this area
• Complaint management
Your Profile:
• Professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the food or agricultural industry
• Experience in material planning and working with planning data
• Analytical skills and experience in market analysis and supplier management
• Strong negotiation skills and a high level of quality and cost awareness
• Business-level proficiency in spoken and written English
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP is a plus
• High level of initiative, flexibility, ability to work in a team, and a solution-oriented approach to work
• Must live in Tyrol or be willing to relocate to Tyrol
