Demand Planning Specialist (m/f/d)
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Creating and continuously updating sales forecasts at the product, customer, and regional levels by analyzing historical sales data (identifying relevant trends, patterns, and market influences, etc.)
- Close collaboration with the sales department (KAM) to incorporate product listings and delistings as well as customer promotions into the forecasting process
- Determining production line capacity requirements based on the sales forecast
- Developing optimized inventory targets for production planning through variance analysis of sales figures
- Development and optimization of statistical forecasting models
- Introduction and implementation of modern forecasting methods and technologies, including machine learning and AI
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, business informatics, logistics, or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in demand planning, production controlling, or production planning in the FMCG sector
- Proficiency in using planning tools and ERP systems
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- A meticulous, reliable, and responsible work ethic—both independently and as part of a team—combined with a strong customer focus (delivery capability) and dedication
