- At its production facility, located near the coast of Lower Saxony, the company manufactures product lines that meet high-quality standards—with a focus on industrial products as well as private-label and branded products
- The company supports customers with comprehensive services in the development of product concepts, from the initial idea to the final recipe
- Our client supplies industrial and retail customers in the DACH region as well as globally and is regarded as a true “hidden champion” in its segment
- There has been continuous investment in the production site over the past few years; production currently takes place on 19 production lines
- As part of a succession plan, we are now seeking a Head of Production (m/f/d) with a background in the food industry and experience in medium-sized companies, who will lead production in a results-oriented manner and align it with future requirements
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the production site in all strategic and, above all, operational matters, with close ties to the shop floor and day-to-day operations
- Monitoring all process parameters to achieve the desired quality, including cost efficiency and capacity utilization
- Establishing and managing coherent maintenance concepts
- Developing targeted initiatives to optimize productivity, including the further development of CIP/LEAN principles
- Ongoing evaluation of structures and processes, and implementation of needs-based optimizations and modernizations
- Identifying opportunities for digitization and automation
- Planning and implementation of investments and change initiatives

YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of leadership experience in production and engineering at a food manufacturing plant
- Forward-thinking, agile manager with a high degree of autonomy and a proven track record of success in increasing productivity
- Expertise in process, procedure, and plant optimization
- A motivating and articulate leader with experience in developing teams and talent
- Proficient in MS Office and English
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, ideally in the food industry (e.g., food technology) or a comparable qualification
