Entry-Level Commercial Manager (m/f/d) B2B
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Global marketing of functional products in selected segments of the food industry, e.g., baby food and sports nutrition
- Independently managing existing direct customers and distributors, including conducting international customer visits
- Acquiring new customers and identifying specific application opportunities with potential customers
- Processing customer inquiries and collaborating on customer-specific projects in cooperation with the Production, Product Development, and Application (P&A) departments
- Preparing quotes and conducting negotiations
- Conducting competitor analyses and general market monitoring; understanding and maintaining market relationships and supply chains
- Aligning market developments and customer needs with the company’s own P&A capabilities
- Collaborating on the organization and execution of trade shows
YOUR PROFILE
- A degree in food technology, business administration, or technical training combined with initial sales experience in the B2B sector of the food industry, preferably in the dairy industry
- Enthusiasm for selling highly functional dry products and a passion for working with customers
- Technical understanding of production processes and application possibilities, along with the ability to apply this knowledge in a sales- and customer-oriented manner
- Enjoyment of international travel (up to 50%) and an interest in the global sale of food ingredients
- Business-level proficiency in English
- Knowledge of the production and application of milk- and whey-based dry products is a plus
- Strong motivation, excellent communication skills, independence, ability to work in a team, negotiation and consulting skills, and assertiveness
- A hands-on mindset with a strong service orientation
