(Junior) Purchaser of Plant-Based Raw Materials and Spices (m/f/d)
Here’s what you’ll be doing
- You will be responsible for day-to-day operations in the procurement of plant-based raw materials and spices
- Your responsibilities will include daily demand planning, evaluating quotes, managing requests for proposals, and conducting price negotiations
- Conducting supplier meetings, as well as drafting and monitoring contracts, are part of your responsibilities
- You will create and continuously maintain master data in SAP
- You’re no stranger to project work and enjoy contributing to cost optimization and process efficiency within these projects
Here’s what impresses us about you
- You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship or a degree program with a focus on the food industry or a comparable field
- You bring initial relevant professional experience in purchasing, as well as a professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- You take a structured and analytical approach to your work processes, and you enjoy working with numbers
- Proficiency with MS Office, as well as basic knowledge of SAP, will be an asset in your role
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a good understanding of economic relationships round out your profile
