Responsibilities
- Support in analyzing remaining inventory, sales risks, and excess or shortfall in demand
- Collaboration in risk management, particularly in assessing product freshness, remaining shelf life, and inventory trends
- Support for measures in disposal management, as well as donation and staff allowance processes
- Support in the provision and maintenance of SAP and BW planning tools
- Creation, preparation, and evaluation of data and reports, particularly in Excel
- Communication and coordination with internal stakeholders, particularly Sales and related departments
- Assistance in coordinating product shortages and deriving appropriate measures
Qualifications
- an advanced degree in economics and initial relevant experience, e.g., through internships in supply chain or sales
- Strong proficiency in Excel; initial experience in data analysis and report creation is a plus
- Quick comprehension and excellent analytical skills, as well as confidence in working with numbers and data
- A high level of commitment, an independent and structured approach to work, and the ability to interact confidently with contacts at various hierarchical levels
- Interest in inventory control, stock management, and sales-related processes
- Ideally, basic knowledge of SAP or BW, though not required
