This is a temporary position to cover parental leave.

In the Expansion department, we transform our dm stores into distinctive spaces where people feel at home: an inviting atmosphere, a close connection with shoppers, and the unique dm brand experience—these are the goals of our work. To achieve this, we are responsible for the entire lifecycle of a dm store: from site selection and construction through to the furnishing of our stores, as well as maintenance during the lease term.

The CAD Store Planning team advises construction project managers as well as regional and store managers on the layout and furniture placement of a dm store. To strengthen this team, we are looking for an experienced CAD drafter (f/m/d) who will be responsible for store planning and furnishing concepts for our dm stores.

• Designing store layouts and implementing interior design concepts for new dm store openings and renovations
• Independent coordination of planning processes and creation of digital data models (bill of materials, analysis of building data)
• Maintenance of inventory data for the digital evaluation of plan content
• Further development and optimization of store planning processes
• Intensive communication and consultation with internal departments, project managers, architects, sales colleagues, and other external partners during a store opening
• Participation in projects and working groups related to the digitalization of business processes

• Successful completion of an apprenticeship as a CAD drafter, architectural drafter, technical drafter/modeler, or a comparable qualification
• Proficiency in CAD applications, ideally AutoCAD, as well as strong knowledge of common MS Office programs and SAP
• Strong communication and coordination skills in German (min. C1); knowledge of Polish is a plus
• Openness to new digital work tools
• Analytical thinking to help design and optimize workflows
• Sense of responsibility, initiative, and enjoyment of working in a team
