
Our in-house consulting team serves in a cross-functional, strategic role within the Product Range division of the Marketing + Procurement department. The goal of our daily work is to use business expertise and innovative ideas to develop optimization strategies for the product range, thereby delivering sustainable value to our customers. In doing so, we frequently collaborate across divisions and departments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the initiation, design, testing, and implementation of projects; and, once sufficient experience has been gained, also serve as a (co-)project manager
- Addressing complex issues related to product portfolio strategy, growth, and process optimization, and deriving clear, actionable recommendations ready for decision-making
- Conducting data-driven analyses and translating insights into concrete actions with measurable impact
- Identifying and developing new business potential within the product portfolio—from evaluating growth opportunities to developing concrete strategic options and decision-making documents
- Presenting results and strategic options to internal stakeholders, as well as preparing and facilitating internal workshops
- Close collaboration with our product range teams as well as adjacent departments and internal clients throughout the procurement and merchandise management processes
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in economics or a comparable field
- At least 2 years of professional experience in in-house consulting and/or strategy consulting (preferably in the retail or FMCG sector), as well as, ideally, experience in conceptualization and (partial) project management
- Strong ability to analyze complex relationships and a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as a strong sense for structuring and designing effective presentations
- Willingness to take the initiative in shaping and driving projects forward
