The Corporate Development division of HARIBO Holding supports the strategic leadership of the corporate group and thus plays a key role in maintaining the focus that is critical to our success. Here, we develop the fundamentals, such as corporate strategy, as well as regional or function-specific strategies (e.g., M&A), and global organizational approaches. The department’s key responsibilities include managing the long-term planning cycle with business reviews and business planning, including planning workshops with selected business units. The diverse range of activities also includes various strategic projects that extend beyond individual business units. Responsibilities
- Using your expertise, you will analyze market and financial data and prepare it for strategic decision-making—both on a regular basis to monitor performance and on an ad hoc basis for projects
- In doing so, you will create competitor profiles, conduct M&A research, and perform analyses of business and market developments at the group level, presenting these findings within your department
- You will support the annual strategic planning cycle by coordinating and preparing meetings and will always maintain an overview of deadlines, feedback, and the completeness of documentation
- In addition, you will support the SVP of Corporate Development by handling travel planning and expense reports, coordinating schedules, and organizing management meetings
Qualifications
- Initial professional experience in a quantitatively oriented field such as finance, controlling, market research, management consulting, or a similar area, with your completed business training or degree in business administration serving as the foundation for your success
- Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing, synthesizing, and presenting quantitative data
- An independent, structured, and service-oriented approach to work
- Fluency in spoken and written English for international collaboration rounds out the package
