SUCCESSFUL NON-FOOD BRAND MANUFACTURER

  • Bolsius is an internationally active, family-run non-food manufacturer based in the Netherlands with a total of 1,000 employees
  • Bolsius manufactures in the EU and markets a wide range of products under its own brand—from classic candles to scented products; in addition, custom private label ranges are also offered
  • The German marketing and sales company in Essen, with approximately 20 employees, generates revenue in the mid-double-digit million euro range and holds a leading market position in its segment in Germany
  • Bolsius is active in multiple sales channels, particularly in food retail, drugstore, DIY, and garden channels, as well as in e-commerce
  • As part of a newly created position, we are now seeking an experienced and agile Non-Food KAM (m/f/d) to manage and systematically develop the existing business in the DIY/garden channel

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible management, development, and reactivation of the customer portfolio in the DIY/garden channel
  • Expanding business through product range, distribution, and promotional measures, as well as targeted new customer acquisition
  • Analyzing customer and market potential, as well as deriving and implementing corresponding sales strategies
  • Independently conducting annual reviews, including offer calculations and follow-up
  • Working with market data to develop compelling sales pitches for customers (Category Advisor)
  • Close collaboration with the office and field staff, (international) sales colleagues, and supporting departments

YOUR PROFILE

  • Several years of professional experience in key account management in the German food retail sector and experience in the DIY/garden channel
  • Experience in the FMCG brand context, ideally also in the private label sector
  • Familiar with modern KAM processes, profit-oriented customer management, and analytical approaches (CatMan)
  • A "doer" with an affinity for small and medium-sized businesses and a hands-on mentality who enjoys driving business growth
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, combined with a persuasive demeanor and an entrepreneurial approach
  • Degree in Business Administration or comparable business education
  • Excellent MS Office skills, fluent English
