Managing Director (f/m/d) MilchVerband Österreich
The Austrian Dairy Association represents the interests of a strong, diverse and future-oriented dairy industry. We are in dialog with business, trading partners, politics, media, NGOs and society – transparent, solution-oriented and with a clear stance.
For the further development of our association, we are looking for a communicative, networked and confident personality as Managing Director.
Your tasks
- Strategic and operational management of the association
- Representing the interests of the industry in various committees
- Representing the industry to the public, media, politics and NGOs
- Active networking and expansion of relevant national and international contacts
- Managing internal and external communication (member companies and stakeholders)
- Positioning the association in social and professional debates
Your profile
- Strong communication skills and a confident, authentic manner
- High social competence, empathy and diplomatic skills
- Experience in dealing with the media, press relations and public communication
- Confident negotiator and eloquent – even in challenging conversational situations
- Ideally experience in dialog with NGOs, associations or political institutions
- Strong networking skills and strategic thinking
- Leadership experience or proven management of complex organizations
- High level of initiative, assertiveness and the “power” to move things forward
- Completed studies or several years of adequate professional experience
