To strengthen our team at the Lorup site, we are looking for a
Head of Product Development (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Technical management of the product development department
- Strategic further development and management of the product portfolio, taking into account market, customer and quality requirements
- Responsibility for the planning, coordination and optimization of all product development processes
- Close cooperation with management, quality assurance, production, purchasing and sales
- Ensuring compliance with legal, normative and customer-specific requirements in the food industry
- Responsibility for the specification management of raw materials, auxiliary materials and additives as well as packaging materials
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in the field of food technology, ecotrophology, food chemistry or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in product development or quality assurance within the food industry
- Initial management experience or strong potential to take on a managerial position
- Sound knowledge of relevant quality, hygiene and food standards (e.g. IFS, HACCP)
- Confident appearance and strong communication and organizational skills
- Very good sense of responsibility and quality awareness
