ESTABLISHED LEADING FOOD PRODUCER
- Our client is an owner-managed company with a long tradition that is one of the most important suppliers to the food retail and food industry in its segment and generates triple-digit million euro sales
- The company has established a strong market position in private labels and is also one of the leading suppliers of organic products in Europe; the company is consistently focused on sustainability
- In recent years, growth has been achieved in particular by supporting the internationalization of individual retail customers; the business is subject to increasing price pressure, volatile raw material prices and rising demands on quality and sustainability
- In the course of a gradual handover of operational responsibility by the managing partner, an external managing director (m/f/d) is now being sought to take on the role of CEO and successfully lead the company into the future
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Strategic and operational company management, in close cooperation with the shareholder and the commercial managing director
- Further development of the existing corporate & market strategy
- Actively influencing key negotiations and long-term framework conditions with key customers & cooperation partners
- If required, initiating and implementing structural & efficiency programs to sustainably strengthen competitiveness; leading ongoing transformation processes within the company
- Further development of the management team and active shaping of a future-oriented, high-performance organization
- Close and trusting cooperation with the managing partner until the assumption of the chairmanship of the management board

YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of experience in a management or CEO position with comprehensive responsibility for results and a high affinity for sales
- Sound industry knowledge from the food and/or FMCG industry; ideally with experience from the private label business
- Entrepreneurial, far-sighted thinking paired with strong decision-making skills, a sense of responsibility and high emotional intelligence
- Experience in the successful design and implementation of transformation & restructuring processes
- Proven expertise in dealing with top decision-makers in retail as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confident manner in dealing with shareholders, advisory boards and other stakeholder groups
