- As part of a European group, our client is a successful medium-sized specialist in the food convenience sector that generates sales in the high 2-digit million euro range with over 250 employees
- The successful company sells its products in the food retail and food service sectors in DACH and distinguishes itself through premium quality and a distinctly service-oriented customer relationship
- The ongoing development of the product portfolio, consistently high quality and regular updates to the product range are among the company's key performance features
- As part of a succession process, we are now looking for a new Managing Director (m/f/d) to further develop the company and drive growth in existing and new markets
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Strategic and operational management of the company
- Profit-oriented further development of the business with full P&L responsibility, monitoring of KPIs during the year
- Targeted identification of potential in market development and in existing structures & processes
- taking over existing business and securing the customer base
- Expansion of sales activities and product innovations to develop new customer groups & business segments
- Managing the further national and international expansion of the business and, if necessary, adapting export structures
- Resource planning for the future-oriented further development of the company with regard to investments, personnel deployment, operating resources, etc.
- Management of a motivated and loyal team of employees

YOUR PROFILE
- Entrepreneurial and authentic leader with several years of leadership experience
- Strategic thinker and operational doer at the same time
- Commercial management expert/all-rounder for FMCG products; ideally from the food market with resilient relationships in the food retail & food service market; with up-to-date knowledge of medium-sized business models and corresponding sales experience
- Several years of management expertise with proven success in business development and the implementation of growth strategies
- Production & IT affinity
- Completed business studies or comparable qualification / commercial training
- Very good command of English
