The position is to be filled in the home office. Training and meetings will take place in Coesfeld.
Forwarding clerk (m/f/d) foodstuffs
Your tasks
- Coordination of appointments and tours with external freight forwarders and our own fleet
- Active route planning for your own truck fleet
- Selling freight / tours to external partners / freight forwarders
- Correspondence and communication with drivers, customers, suppliers and freight forwarders
- Independently obtaining and negotiating freight rates
- Invoicing and administrative activities
Your profile
- Completed commercial training in freight forwarding
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in the food industry
- Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel) and common ERP systems
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility, structured way of working and a pragmatic "hands-on" mentality
- Good written and spoken English skills
