Marcher Fleischwerke is one of the 10 largest food manufacturers in Austria. Our product range extends from fresh meat, sausage products, salami and ham to meatless products and convenience items.
In order to strengthen our highly professional sales team, we are looking for a person with strong implementation skills and a strategic understanding of the market who will actively contribute to the further development of our leading retail relationships.
You can be based in Villach, Graz, Oberwaltersdorf, Linz or Bruck an der Mur.

This is what your typical working day looks like: Responsibility, variety and design
- You expand existing key account relationships sustainably, recognize new opportunities at an early stage and initiate partnerships with long-term prospects
- In constant communication with sales management, production and product development, you ensure that our products and services are perfectly tailored to the needs of our customers
- With your expertise, you will act confidently towards key decision-makers, manage contract negotiations professionally and actively introduce innovative concepts
- You analyze market and customer potential, derive specific development measures and manage their implementation effectively
- You evaluate customer requirements in terms of feasibility and cost-effectiveness and contribute your expertise to internal decision-making processes in a targeted manner
- You ensure that new ideas are realized quickly and efficiently within the company and accompany projects from the initial impulse to implementation
Your profile: Personality with vision and expertise
- Completed training in a commercial or food-related field, we also welcome career changers with relevant experience
- Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in key account management, preferably in food retailing
- Confident appearance and the ability to convince top decision-makers
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical thinking and a good feel for market and customer requirements
- Entrepreneurial way of working paired with strong implementation skills
- Structured, solution-oriented way of working with a hands-on mentality
- Business fluent in German and English
- You live near one of our plants in Villach, Graz, Oberwaltersdorf, Linz or Bruck an der Mur and are willing to travel for your Europe-wide customer contacts.
Salary/wages
We offer a competitive salary, which we structure flexibly and fairly according to your experience, qualifications and responsibilities. An overpayment and other attractive additional benefits are included from the outset. The classification for this position is based on the collective agreement Salaried employees in the retail sector in the D category.
