Confectionery industry
Your tasks include
- Development of new recipes for sweet, fat-based spreads
- Optimization of existing products in terms of taste, texture and economy
- Creating and maintaining recipes, raw material lists and specifications
- Carrying out tastings, sensory evaluations and shelf life tests
- Testing new raw materials for usability
- Production of samples on a laboratory scale and in the pilot plant
- Operating the pilot plants (production and filling technology)
- Organization and execution of test series, including documentation of results
- Setting up, converting and cleaning the pilot plants
- Detecting and rectifying minor technical faults (e.g. blockages, parameter adjustments)
- Organizing and maintaining the processes in the pilot plant
- Working closely with production, technology, quality assurance, purchasing and sales
- Preparation, monitoring and evaluation of production trials and scale-up processes
- Creation of quality and process specifications
- Support with customer projects and presentations
Your profile:
- Completed training or studies in the field of confectionery technology, food technology, oecotrophology or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in a similar position - ideally in the chocolate & jam sector
- Confident handling of raw materials such as nuts, fruits, cocoa and milk powders, fats and oils
- Technical understanding and willingness to rectify minor faults yourself
- Enjoy practical work in the technical center
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Creativity, sensory sensitivity and a structured way of working
- Knowledge of food safety/HACCP
- Strong communication skills, very good manners
