Head of Controlling (m/f/d)
These are your tasks:
- Technical and disciplinary management of the operational controlling team
- Independent management and further development of the department and the team
- Planning, controlling and monitoring of business processes
- Development and optimization of controlling instruments, KPIs and internal processes
- Carrying out profitability and variance analyses as well as ad hoc evaluations
- Further development of KPI systems, dashboards and reporting tools
- Responsibility for cost and investment controlling as well as project controlling
- Supporting investment decisions and creating business cases
- Ensuring adherence to compliance and controlling guidelines
- Contact person for auditors, tax consultants and internal audits
- Working closely with specialist departments and management to implement operational decisions
- Deriving recommendations for action to optimize efficiency, cost structures and processes
This is how you convince us:
- Completed business studies (M.E.) with a focus on controlling, finance or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in the entire controlling area and ideally in management
- Very good knowledge of cost accounting, accounting, budgeting and financial planning
- Confident handling of ERP systems and reporting tools
- Experience in setting up BI and reporting systems is an advantage
- Very strong analytical, conceptual and strategic mindset
- High affinity for numbers and precise, independent way of working
- High communicative competence, especially in the translation of numbers into technical language
- Hands-on mentality as well as proactive design and optimization
- Several years of experience as a manager and in building a team
- Experience in digital leadership
