Your tasks
- Building and maintaining close relationships with key retail and distribution partners in the DACH region with a focus on drugstores and leading food retailers
- Negotiate trade terms, pricing and promotional activities to achieve common goals
- Develop and implement customized sales strategies to drive growth in the DACH region
- Ensure alignment of regional activities with overall company objectives
- Track sales figures, analyze trends and identify areas for improvement
- Work with partners to optimize product placement, visibility and advertising effectiveness
- Monitor competition and market trends in the DACH region
- Provide insights and recommendations for decision making and strategy adjustment
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, purchasing and finance) to ensure smooth operations
- Work with the Trade Marketing Manager and Marketing Manager as part of the commercial triangle to optimize the account
- Act as the main point of contact for regional partners, responding to their needs and resolving issues promptly
- Create and deliver regular reports on customer performance, sales results and regional market dynamics
- Contribute to the strategic planning process by providing insights and forecasts for the DACH region
You have these requirements
- University degree in business, marketing or a related field
- More than 8 years of experience in key account management, sales or business development in the FMCG industry, ideally in the baby food industry or a related segment
- Proven track record in serving customers in the DACH region
- dm experience: Solid experience in working with dm-drogerie markt, ideally as a key account manager on the supplier side or as a buyer/category manager at dm
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills with a strong affinity for numbers - you are part of the "new generation" of KAMs who are data-driven and generate strategic insights
- FMCG expertise: Several years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, preferably in the food segments, especially baby food, postnatal products, cosmetics or dairy products
- Category management know-how: Sound knowledge of category management processes and tools
- Negotiation skills: Proven success in negotiations with major retail partners
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken); other languages are an advantage.
- Work location preferably in Dietmannsried, hybrid working possible by arrangement
