What you can expect from us
In your role as a Buyer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the reliable supply of food raw materials and merchandise. You will act as a central interface between suppliers and internal departments and play a key role in ensuring quality, delivery capability and cost-effectiveness.
Your tasks:
- You will be responsible for the strategic and operational procurement of raw materials and merchandise
- You select, evaluate and continuously develop national and international suppliers
- You conduct price, condition and contract negotiations consistently
- You monitor the market and identify new sources of supply and potential
- You manage forecasts, order quantities and safety stocks
- You work closely with product developments, especially when sourcing new ingredients and packaging solutions
- You actively contribute to the optimization of purchasing processes and cost structures
What you should bring with you:
- You have a degree in economics or a sound commercial education
- You have professional experience in purchasing, ideally in the FMCG or food environment
- You are confident in negotiations and confident in dealing with suppliers
- You work analytically, think cost-consciously and act in a solution-oriented manner
- You have very good German and good English skills
- You work in a structured, independent and reliable manner
- You are a strong communicator and enjoy working in a team
