Your future area of responsibility:
- Providing expert advice to customers in the food and meat products industry - technological, sensory and process-related
- Carrying out product presentations, application demonstrations and practical tests for customers
- Supporting customers in recipe development and optimization (cooked sausage, raw sausage, cooked sausage, convenience, marinades, rubs)
- Creation of product specifications, application recommendations and technical documentation
- Analysis of production processes and development of technological solutions
- Close cooperation with product development, QA, sales and field service
- Identification of optimization potential and development of new application concepts
- Implementation and support of sampling, test series and product launches
- Support with complaints management and technological issues
- Market and competition monitoring in the area of spices, additives and food ingredients
What you bring with you:
- Completed training or studies in the field of food technology, meat technology, food process engineering, master butcher or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in meat product production or the spice/ingredient industry desirable
- Sound knowledge of spices, spice mixtures, marinades, additives and their application
- Sound technical understanding of production processes in the food industry
- Experience in sensory evaluation and interest in product and process optimization
- Strong communication and presentation skills and enjoy direct customer contact
- Structured, self-organized and results-oriented way of working
- Willingness to travel in the field (regionally or nationally, depending on the area)
- Confident handling of MS Office, ERP systems and documentation tools
