Specialist consultant (m/f/d) in the butcher's trade
Area of operation: Focus on northern, western and eastern Germany

What you can expect:
- Your work will focus on providing specialist and technological advice to meat-processing companies with the aim of sustainably promoting sales of our products.
- You will carry out individual consultations, production support, seminars and workshops on your own responsibility and support customers in the areas of sausage, ham, cured meat, canning and convenience production as well as counter specialties, product presentation and counter design.
- You will answer technological, food law and product-specific questions competently and provide support in the event of complaints with sound specialist knowledge.
- You will develop and optimize recipes, create recipe collections for customers and trade events and correctly implement food law requirements (e.g. declarations).
- You will continuously monitor market and competitive developments, support sales, marketing and product management with specialist topics and represent RAPS at trade fairs and conferences.
- Our sales representatives benefit from your training and support at customer meetings, where you impart technological know-how in a practical manner.
- You maintain your reporting system in CRM and work closely with the sales management.
- Due to changing locations, you will occasionally stay overnight in a hotel, which is part of the varied work.
What you bring with you:
- Completed training as a butcher (m/f/d) and further qualification as a master butcher or meat technician (m/f/d)
- Several years of professional experience in meat processing, meat technology or product development - ideally with direct customer contact.
- In-depth technological expertise in the production of meat and sausage products, cured products, convenience and canned products.
- Experience in conducting training courses, workshops or training sessions - ideally in an artisanal or industrial environment.
- A confident, friendly manner and strong communication and advisory skills.
- Enthusiasm, hands-on mentality and the ability to convey complex technological content in an understandable way - combined with a high affinity for products, recipes and manufacturing processes.
- A high level of initiative, a structured way of working and the willingness to continuously develop your professional skills.
- Willingness to travel within your area of responsibility and professional handling of work equipment.
