- MPM Products is a premium pet food supplier with roots in the UK, which is represented in over 50 markets worldwide with its main brands Applaws (FH) and Encore (food retail/drugstores) and generates 3-digit million € sales
- The brand portfolio positions itself through the highest quality and premium standards based on natural ingredients; 100% natural ingredients, more real meat and no unnecessary grains, fillers or additives
- With the exception of a few core markets (D, F, UK), the company sells its products in EMEA via distributors who supply traditional retailers and specialist retailers. These distributors supply traditional retailers and specialist retailers and also carry out local brand activation activities
- The distributor network is currently managed by Area Sales Managers
- In order to consistently focus on growth, the role of Head of Distributor Management (m/f/d) for the EMEA region is now being established to realign the management of the distributors in a results-oriented manner
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Management of several Area Sales Managers in EMEA (focus Europe, Middle East) with a network of approx. 30 local distributor partners
- Development of a distributor management strategy with the aim of driving distribution and brand activation in the relevant sales channels
- Performance-oriented evaluation and, if necessary, renewal of existing contracts/conditions, if necessary also replacement of partners
- Conducting negotiations with partners, defining distribution and product range targets, monitoring performance and monitoring the conditions policy with local retailers
- Coordinating marketing and sales promotion planning and budgets with the area sales managers and local partners
- Planning and forecasting of sales & expenses as well as regular development & variance reporting to the VP Sales EMEA

HR PROFILE
- Extensive experience in building and successfully managing distributor networks in the FMCG environment with a deep understanding of distribution development and brand activation; pet food expertise not a must
- Enjoy building and maintaining international customer relationships and willingness to travel internationally
- Expertise in leading cross-functional teams, also in an international context
- Dynamic, self-motivated and motivating personality with a high degree of initiative and leadership experience in export
- High level of communication & collaboration skills
- Very good command of English, fluent in spoken and written, familiar with a wide range of cultures, including the Middle East
- Successful business studies or comparable qualification
