- Our client is a well-known medium-sized family business in the food segment that has been successful for many years
- The company enjoys an excellent reputation due to its innovative strength and is enjoying increasing demand
- Against this background, the owners have decided to expand capacities and build a new plant (greenfield) For this purpose, the company is already in the concrete preparation & planning stage and is now looking for a Process & Project Engineer (m/f/d) to support as an operational project manager (m/f/d) at the interface between internal departments and external factory planners in order to optimally position machines, technology and processes in the new plant
- The job holder will be responsible for the technical management of the site from commissioning and lead the maintenance team
- Reporting line to the Operations Director, who is the overall project manager
YOUR MAIN TASKS
- Technical planning, design and implementation of production systems as part of the construction of the new factory
- Interface management between planning, construction and authorities
- Development of process flows for food production based on an optimal store floor design
- Support with the design, specification & procurement of process systems
- Creation of flow diagrams (P&IDs), mass & energy balances and specifications
- Ensuring compliance with food law, hygiene and safety standards
- Structured handover to operations, including technical documentation

YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of experience in the field of plant engineering/process engineering in the context of flow production (ideally food or non-food)
- Experience ideally in the management of investment projects (> € 5 million)
- Knowledge of hygienic design, GMP, EHEDG and relevant standards and safety guidelines
- Confident handling of planning & documentation tools (e.g. AutoCAD, MS Project, ERP systems)
- High technical understanding, organizational skills & strong communication skills
- Completed technical studies (process engineering, food technology, mechanical engineering or similar field of study) or comparable qualification
